A new development at the edge of a historic town requires sensitivity and an understanding of context. For this 410 home project in Bedfordshire we held regular monthly meetings with local stakeholders to agree appropriate responses to sensitive boundaries and to build a consensus for the way forward.

Working with two separate landowners and developers, GSA consolidated the sites within a single coherent masterplan. The masterplan successfully resolves the competing requirements of the various parties whilst maintaining a strong concept and design vision
