This competition winning design responds to the challenge of densification within an historic context. It skilfully integrates leisure and retail uses with residential and creates a tall building to declare Walthamstow’s new-found confidence as a regional centre.
The range of uses helps to deliver a vibrant active town centre for Walthamstow and boost its daytime and evening economy. It also delivers some much needed housing in a key location within the town centre.
