The vision is to revitalise South Oxhey – allowing it to evolve into a thriving and successful mixed-use quarter around Carpenders Park Station, where aspiration, integration and community cohesion are underpinned by high quality place-making.
The neighbourhood centre combines the amenities and employment creation of the retail and employment uses, with a high quality residential environment, to create a new locale that is socially, economically and physically sustainable:
- 500 new homes (including a mixture of houses and apartments)
- Contemporary mixed-use buildings with adaptable floorplates – to ‘future proof’ the scheme and maximise flexibility
- 5,000 sqm of retail floor space, including a new anchor food store
- The New Market Square
