Hallfield Estate Environmental Improvements

London

Our appointment was to obtain planning permission and listed building consent for our client CityWest Homes for a package of building environmental improvement works to be incorporated into their on-going landlord maintenance programme across the Hallfield Estate near Paddington, London.

The grade-II listed housing estate designed by architect Berthold Lubetkin and built for Westminster City Council in the 1950’s, houses over 2,300 people in 650 flats.

The range of environmental improvements include increased ventilation, upgraded space heating and improved insulation and moisture control of the external building fabric - all to work within the heritage constraints of the listed building status and to be implemented with residents in place.
