Corio, Grange Walk, Bermondsey

London

The design engages and responds to the rich context and culture of Bermondsey. This scheme is of its own time, but is respectful of neighbouring buildings from a range of architectural periods. The form of the building creates a strong public edge and a shared garden space with Grange Gardens apartments next door.

This high quality, high density urban scheme delivers 167 mixed tenure apartments. A series of 4 buildings are arranged around a communal garden at the centre of the scheme. This traditional urban form provides high density living without the need for high rise.

The scheme provides a great range of dwelling types from 1 bed apartments through to 3 bed wheelchair homes, and generous rooftop penthouses enjoying views across the city to The Shard.

  • 167 mixed tenure homes;
  • 10% wheelchair apartments;
  • Contemporary interpretation of traditional urban courtyard form.
